Real Bible Faith is to believe and receive what Jesus has already done for you; not believing what Jesus will do for you.
Faith is to take possession of what Jesus did for you on the cross; it is not to make God do something for you.
“…. And this is the Victory that overcomes the world, even our faith” 1 John 5:4
Faith makes you an over comer, because faith always says what the Word says.
The Word of God is the source of our faith and knowing the Word and acting on it in faith, will give you control of the situations you are facing. The strength of your faith will be in direct proportion to the amount of the Word of God that you are feeding on. Romans 10:17 “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God”
Believing is acting, so if you believe the Word, you will act on it. If there is no action, there is no faith. Get in the word of God and find out what He says about your situations, then when you find out what God thinks, it will change your thinking.
“The entrance of Your Words gives light”
You can walk in the light of God’s Word everyday and it will begin to produce great results in your life.
2 Corinthians 4:13
“But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, I believed and therefore did I speak, we also believe and therefore we speak.”
If you believe, then you will speak and this is the way to release your faith. Remember, your confession will not move God, but your confession by faith will take what God already made available to you and me.
